Rhyme & Relics | Sterling Silver | Statement Ring

I made this ring for the person who wants something that looks like it was pulled from the earth, not a display case.

The band is wide and tapered, forged from substantial sterling silver with real weight to it — the kind you feel on your hand and don't forget is there. Stamped with layered botanical and organic textures that shift and catch the light differently depending on the angle, it reads like a fragment of something ancient — a relic, a page from a field journal, a piece of bark pressed into metal. Paired with it is a fine inner band edged in hand-applied milgrain beading, delicate against the heft of the outer form.

I set two round brilliant moissanites in individual prong settings — one rising from each side of the band, offset and elevated, like two stars sitting just above the horizon. The contrast between the raw, heavy-gauge textured silver and the clean fire of the stones is exactly the tension I was after.
