Some stones arrive already in conversation with each other. The moment I held this pink sapphire and this teal kyanite together, I knew they were meant to share a single band — bold, unapologetic, and completely alive.

The pink sapphire glows with a warm, saturated fuchsia — raw-edged and faceted, catching light like a secret. The teal kyanite is its counterpoint: cool, silken, fibrous with depth that shifts from aqua to deep ocean depending on the hour. Together they are something rare.

I set the kyanite in a 14k gold bezel, smooth and warm against the dark oxidized silver band. The sapphire sits elevated in 14k gold-filled prongs, with a tiny salt and pepper rose-cut diamond nestled at the junction — a quiet punctuation mark between two loud, beautiful stones. The band itself is a soft square, wide and substantial, giving the whole piece a sculptural weight that wears like armor.

I made this ring for the person who wants something that looks like it was pulled from the earth, not a display case.

The band is wide and tapered, forged from substantial sterling silver with real weight to it — the kind you feel on your hand and don't forget is there. Stamped with layered botanical and organic textures that shift and catch the light differently depending on the angle, it reads like a fragment of something ancient — a relic, a page from a field journal, a piece of bark pressed into metal. Paired with it is a fine inner band edged in hand-applied milgrain beading, delicate against the heft of the outer form.

I set two round brilliant moissanites in individual prong settings — one rising from each side of the band, offset and elevated, like two stars sitting just above the horizon. The contrast between the raw, heavy-gauge textured silver and the clean fire of the stones is exactly the tension I was after.

There’s a green in Carico Lake turquoise that doesn’t exist anywhere else. Not teal, not sage — something electric and alive, like the moment a wave breaks over a shallow reef and the light catches everything underneath. That’s what I saw when this stone arrived at my bench.

I set it alongside a triangle of beach glass — worn smooth by the tide, the kind of piece you’d find and keep in your pocket for years. And then three Ethiopian opals, cascading down the side like sea foam catching the sunset. Each one a tiny world of color. Three dots of 14k gold acccentuate the setting — small, intentional, warm against the dark oxidized silver. I let the sterling go dark around everything so every stone and every accent could glow brighter.

This ring is called Tide Pools because that’s exactly what it feels like — that quiet, electric moment when you crouch down at the edge of the water and realize there’s an entire universe living in a few inches of ocean.

Two soaring eagles are hand-fabricated directly into the band — their outstretched wingtips curving upward to cradle a rare piece of Kingman turquoise. Along the oxidized sterling silver band, moon phases are hand-sawn through the metal, so light passes through each phase like a tiny window into the night sky.

D E T A I L S: This is a reusable ring sizer for determining your ring size. I always recommend having your finger sized in person at a local jewelry store, but I know that that is not always possible. I have found this sizer to be more accurate than printable sizing charts online.

It is made of flexible plastic and very easy to use. It has whole and half US sizes from size 1 to 17.

Please follow the directions on the packaging and be sure that you can slip it over your knuckle when determining the best fit.
