Pendants

I was drawn to this ocean jasper the moment I held it — the way the deep jade green gives way to warm peach and rust banding felt like looking at a landscape from above. I knew it needed something equally warm surrounding it.

The ocean jasper cabochon is organic and teardrop-shaped, its surface a world of color — cool forest green bleeding into sandy peach and terracotta, with that characteristic glossy dome that catches light like still water. No two ocean jaspers are ever alike.

I set the stone in a fine sterling silver bezel, then hand-set cognac garnet cube beads in a full halo around the frame — two rows deep — and finished the outer edge with a scalloped sterling border. The bail is hand-fabricated and substantial enough to carry a bold chain.
