Movement — and these earrings have it in abundance. The moment I saw this brass chevron chain fringe, I knew exactly what it needed: a clean, hammered brass triangular frame to hold it.
The brass has that warm, golden tone that catches light differently depending on the angle — matte in shadow, glowing in sun. The chevron links interlock in a herringbone-style cascade, each row shifting slightly as the earring moves. Sterling silver beads punctuate the top bar, adding just enough contrast between the warm brass and cool silver.
I formed the triangular frames by hand from brass wire, hammering them flat for texture and strength. The fringe hangs freely from the base of the frame, so these move with you — there's a sweep and a shimmer that photographs can't fully capture.
