For me, it always starts with the stone — and this piece of Hubei turquoise stopped me cold. There's a depth to it that asks to be worn close to the body, not hidden away.
The stone measures 1.5" x 1.25" — substantial without being heavy, with that unmistakable Hubei character: rich, saturated, and entirely its own.
I bezel set it in fine silver, then added a tiny bronze accent ball at the base — a small detail that grounds the piece and adds just enough warmth to let the turquoise breathe.
