Some stones don't just catch light — they hold it. I built these earrings around a pair of faceted sheen sapphire drops that have this quiet, almost underwater glow to them. The kind of stone you keep turning in your hand.
The drops are cushion-cut with a soft scalloped bezel edge, set in oxidized sterling silver that deepens every shadow and makes the sapphire's sheen read even more luminous by contrast. The hoops themselves are hand-stamped with a repeating floral motif — delicate, botanical, intentional.
I fabricated the bezels by hand, fitted each stone individually, and oxidized the whole piece to bring out the texture in the stamping. These are not earrings that disappear into an outfit. They announce themselves quietly.
