I've always been drawn to the way a frame transforms something — elevates it, gives it intention. These amethyst earrings were born from that same impulse. I set each stone into my signature picture frame setting, letting the sterling silver become the architecture that holds the stone's beauty front and center.
The amethyst is rich and deeply saturated — that classic violet-purple that shifts between cool lavender and deep plum depending on the light. Each stone has its own organic character, the kind of depth you only find in natural gemstones.
I fabricated the picture frame settings by hand in oxidized sterling silver, creating a clean, structured surround that lets the amethyst do the talking. The result is a pair of earrings that feel both architectural and deeply wearable.
